This position is for our location at 2484 N State Rd 7 in Margate, FL and a 5-10 mile radius from the clinic location. The therapists will be in the clinic and on the road/in the community in the South Palm Beach County, North/Central Broward area (Boca, Deerfield, Coconut Creek, Margate, Pompano, Coral Springs, Parkland is needed, greater Ft. Lauderdale area is also available)

About us:
We are collaborative, fun, supportive and our goal is to provide quality OT treatment services to pediatric clients in the North and Central Broward/South Palm Beach County areas. We offer training and support, as well as opportunities for growth, building a schedule to meet as many hours as desired. We offer paid documentation time with an admin rate, that will grow with the case load (1 hr note time for every 7 hours of treatment).
Since we are still a small company we are not yet offering traditional benefits, but will offer a stipend toward CEU courses. We are a growing company currently offering a mix of community and clinic based services. This is a key position for company growth.
For new graduates who have passed their certifications:
✓We will help obtain all necessary numbers (NPI, Medicaid, etc).
✓We can also help you obtain your license through the FLDOH, if the applicant/hires have not already
✓Hires/applicants will have to set up their Level 2 background checks, but we will help with this.
✓We will offer shadowing, training, and assistance in building therapy equipment for the road.
Responsibilities:
- Administer assessments, evaluate, and develop treatment plans for children with various childhood neurodivergences and developmental disabilities
- Provide direct patient care implementing treatment plans
-Supervise COTAs
- Help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities and tasks
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Valid certification through NBCOT
- State licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a OTR
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience or knowledge in pediatrics is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, bilingual would be beneficial, as some of the clients and families are Spanish speaking.

Job Types:
Part-time, Per Diem, Contract
Salary:
51.00-55.00 per hour treatment rate, 75.00 evaluation rate
Expected hours:
15-30 per week, schedules can be built to meet therapists’ desired schedules. Referrals come in regularly.
Please note: office hours are 9-6, but afternoons are the most requested spots, as our clients are schoolchildren. We ask our therapists to be available until 6pm to accommodate.
